Angles and Cuts- Chester
--Chrisnjay2010: They are my regular hair salon Ive been going to since I was a little girl. I'm very particular so I wouldn't go anywhere else. I haven't done any trials yet but have given my hair dresser lots of pics so she has my vision. We are planning a trial for January after my veil and headpiece come in.
Studio One Hair Design
--Ktwed09:I used Kristen from Studio One Hair Design in New Paltz. She's my regular hair dresser, and I love her! She did a great job on my hair, and my girls were happy with the people who did theirs as well.
I Do Hair and Makeup:
--BellaSposa223: I haven't done my trial or anything yet, but Michelle Lo Conte was the only person I found that was reasonably priced for hair and she is located in NJ. The pics on her website look amazing! I will post pics in my bio when I have my trial done.
Pretty Bird Bridal
--Foxyjean911: Dorothy from PrettyBird Bridal - Cold Spring, NY
Dorothy does amazing work, with both hair and makeup. It was so great to find such a talented person to do both hair and makeup who was reasonably priced too. She brought an assistant the day of my wedding who did amazing work on my bridesmaids hair. I have pics in my bio of my trial for anyone interested. She did an amazing job and I loved the false eyelashes. Pics in bio. It was really great using someone who did both makeup and hair. This way I didn't have to worry about hitting a min. amount of girls for each. Since the recession, not all of my girls were able to afford both hair and makeup. Dorothy had a flat $ min. which was much easier to meet since she did both hair and makeup.
GeMargot Salon:
--Princess31909: Carlos is my regular hairdresser and he did an awesome job as always. Another hirdresser who works at the salon also came in to do some of the girls hair, she is awesome as well. I would recommend either of them to anyone. I used Judy who did some of the BM"s hair also does make-up. They don't really advertise it because she has such a full list of clients for hair, but since the owner is my friends mom, they held nothing back. She did an awesome job, I LOVED my make-up, and my girls who used her looked amazing!!
Backstage Salon:
--AmyRaposeiro: I used Christine at Backstage Salon in Croton. I wasn't crazy about my trial as she kind of just threw my hair together really quick to get an idea of what I wanted, but it came out awesome on my wedding day. She also did all of my bridesmaids' hair, and they all looked fabulous.
Steven Amendola Salon:
--PrincessJessica: I used Steven Amendola from the Steven Amendola Salon in Hopewell Junction. He's been my family's hair dresser for years so I already knew his work. He did a beautiful job on my hair and every stayed all day!! Lauren (I forgot her last name) also from the Steven Amedola salon. She's his wedding services coordinator as well so not only did she do our makeup (myself, mom and sister), but she made sure we knew when to get to the salon that morning (man so early), and coordinated my trial appointments.
One thing I also have to commend her for, the morning of my wedding she woke up with Laryngitis (spelling), but she was still there and doing her best work. Everyone complimented me on my makeup so I think she did a real good job.
John Anthony Salon:
--Bridaljoy: He has been doing me and my family hair for years. He did the hair for my sisters wedding and everyone loved the way my hair looked.
Darlene Krause Clemence: (makeup)
Chrisnjay2010: She is a Mary Kay consultant and a really good friend of my moms :)

--Meliss5178: I am using Jill Imbrogno. She is fantastic! She did an amazing job at my trial and she is very professional and easy to get along with.
--BellaSposa223: I am using Jill and she is AMAZING!! I couldn't see myself using anyone else. I have done two makeup trials with her and they came out fantastic. She's very easy to work with and I'm totally excited to have her do my makeup for the big day!

--Meliss5178: He is a miracle worker! I have shoulder length VERY fine hair, and I never have had an updo that I have been completely happy with. He created a style for me that was gorgeous and made me look like I had lots of hair, plus it did not budge all day. I can't stress how happy I am with how the trial came out. I highly recommend him.
