Here you find venues that HV Brides are using and how they feel about they venue and their experiences. As I went through each place on here and put the knotties comments, I noticed that each venue is very different and unique from the next so take the time to look at each of these venues with open eyes.
Villa Barone Hilltop Manor: Mahopac and Bronx
--BellaSposa223:Villa Barone has been nothing but a pleasure to work with so far, and the ballrooms and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The prices are very reasonable for today's economy as well!

Round Hill House: Washingtonville
--Cleorah: Unique, cozy, beautiful grounds and the mansion is awesome. Love working with the people...and can tell you more after Sunday ;).
--Just Jen: We looked at a *million* venues because we wanted something that was not a "reception hall," but not ridiculously expensive. We loved the whole feel of the place.
--Manda26: I wanted something different than a traditional banquet hall and RHH has so much character! It is perfect for what I visioned for my wedding - and the staff has been great. Food is amazing!

--Jhow213: In addition to the hundreds I looked at online and called on the phone, we physically went to 34 venues before booking Round Hill. I saw it online and passed it over until my Mom suggested it again and I decided to go look at it on our last day looking at places. I knew I wanted somewhere less traditional that would still be elegant and incorporated beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. I was getting really frustrated with not finding the right place and all my married friends kept telling me "you"ll just know," but I thought they were full of it. As soon as I walked into Round Hill I knew it was the place. I literally had to hold back tears as I walked through the house and into the gardens. All I kept thinking was "Don't let them see you cry....if you do, you'll never be able to negotiate the price."
Anthony's Pier 9: New Windsor

Lyndhurst Castle: Tarrytown
--.jae.: LOVE this place. It was the only place I found that captured the look and feel that I was going for. (I wanted an outdoor ceremony at a place with beautiful grounds and then a tented reception.) Joseph has been so accommodating so far and I can't wait to see how it turns out!
Poughkeepsie Grand: Poughkeepsie
--Princess Jessica: Loved everything about it. They treated myself and my guest wonderfully. The matre'd even made sure we had food brought up to the honeymoon suite in case we didn't get to eat. I would definately reccomend them to anyone!
The Links at Union Vale: LaGrangeville
--Sb52584: As soon as I walked in I knew it was "the one." It's simple, elegant and is the perfect size for the amount of guests we're going to have. Plus, it's kind of isolated and out in farmland so that drew me to it as well

All in all there were no major problems that day just one small little snafu which was worked out. great food, great place, great staff. I hope I get to use them again for something!!
